The room is very spacious by Tokyo budget hotel standards, with enough room for the bed, writing desk AND space for our bags (we've stayed in places where you could barely fit between the wall and the bed in Tokyo).

A great bonus is the free breakfast included, something you don't find in many Tokyo hotels. The breakfasts were basic, but filling and tasty, and having the option to eat downstairs saved us some money too.

In terms of the location, it's very convenient to the Ueno-Okachimachi station, and only a few more minutes walk away from Ueno station on the Yamanote line - this basically means you can get ANYWHERE in Tokyo from here easily. Another big bonus it that Ueno station is on a direct line to the airport via the Keisei express train, so it is very convenient to get both to and from Narita station.
